Terms and Conditions

Warranty
Knight Creek Technology (KCT) disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or suitability of this product for any use or purpose. KCT disclaims responsibility for any consequential or incidental damages or losses (including loss of data) incurred or alleged to have been incurred as a result of the use or misuse of this hardware product. The client is responsible to maintain current backups.

Some equipment purchased from KCT may be covered by KCT’s warranty. You may obtain a list of equipment covered by KCT’s warranty. Parts, labor, and temporary replacement are covered for a period of one year after purchase. This warranty will be extended if the customer purchases a service contract. Travel time, data, data recovery, hard drive setup, and damage from lightning, misuse, or abuse are not covered by this warranty.

Manufacturer’s Warranty
If equipment is not covered by KCT’s warranty, it may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Any time to install, configure, and support it is billable. If a system contains some equipment covered by KCT’s warranty and some equipment not covered, any time to determine the cause of a problem will be billable. KCT covers only replacement or correction of those components covered by the KCT warranty. Any labor, parts, and shipping expenses to diagnose, repair, or exchange equipment not covered by KCT’s warranty will be billed to the client.

Email Service
KCT disclaims any responsibility for any viruses or spam email received while using this service.  KCT will endeavor to notify clients if there is an expected outage for maintenance. KCT disclaims any responsibility for down time and blackouts when using this service.  KCT reserves the right to bill clients for any troubleshooting if the problems are not directly caused by the use of this service.  KCT reserves the right to charge clients for any virus, adware, or spyware removal related to email or internet use.

Support for Software
Installation and support of software will be billed at KCT’s current rate. We make no guarantee for software, installation, or support.

Disclaimer
KCT reserves the right to change its hardware products and accompanying documentation from time to time, and disclaims any liability for damages or losses resulting from such modifications.  KCT disclaims any responsibility for modifications or changes, both in hardware and software after the client has received the above stated.  If a client does not make any disagreements regarding the policies of KCT known to the company within five days of receiving it, KCT will assume that the policies have been accepted.
