It took about 1 1/2 hrs to copy 65 gigs across an ethernet cable. The file transfer worked great. Then I tried to setup my Lexmark C500n colour laser printer. The .pdf that came with the driver described every step of the setup process, but it didn’t work. Whenever a job was sent to the printer, it would bring up an error. When I contacted Apple about it, their answer was “We do not support network printers in OS X. We know people do it, but we are not trained to troubleshoot these issues.” Thank you very much! After much trial and error, I found that instead of setting it up as a IPP printer like the instructions stated, you need to set it up as an HP JetDirect-Socket printer! Works like a charm now!
